From Size 11 to Founder: Why I Built Trèsolz for Women With Larger Feet

At eleven years old, I learned something painful.

Fashion was not designed for girls like me.

My mom, my sisters, and I all wore larger shoe sizes. Shopping trips that should have been exciting often ended in disappointment. We would walk store after store searching for stylish shoes for big feet and leave empty handed. Sales associates would point us toward orthopedic shoes or men's styles instead.

I wore a size 11 shoe at eleven years old.

For years, I believed my feet were the problem.

As I got older, I realized I was not alone. Millions of women searching for large size women's shoes experience the same frustration every day. Women wearing size 11, size 12, and extended size shoes are often forced to choose between style and fit.

I settled for shoes that did not reflect who I was.

Then life changed.

During COVID, while teaching students online from behind my laptop, I found myself thinking about the problem that had followed me my entire life.

Why were stylish shoes for women with larger feet still so hard to find?

The problem was never our feet.

The problem was the fashion industry.

So I decided to try.

With no fashion background, no footwear experience, and no roadmap, I started building Trèsolz from my basement.

I became an importer. I learned manufacturing. I made mistakes. I learned more. I kept going.

Then something incredible happened.

Women started buying.

Women who wore size 11, size 12, size 13, size 14, size 15, and size 16 finally found fashionable shoes for larger feet that made them feel beautiful.

Messages started arriving.

"I finally found shoes that make me feel feminine."

"I cried opening the box."

"I finally feel seen."

Four years later, Trèsolz has become more than stylish extended size shoes.

It became proof.

Proof that women with larger feet deserve fashion too.

Proof that confidence matters.

Proof that every woman deserves to feel included.

If you have ever felt overlooked because of your shoe size, I want you to know something:

You were never the problem.

You were always worth designing for.
