3 Ways to Style Beverly This Summer: Outfit Ideas for Women’s Shoes in Sizes 11 to 16

Finding the right summer shoe should feel simple.

But when you wear women’s sizes 11 to 16, finding a beautiful sandal that is stylish, comfortable, and actually made with your foot in mind can still feel harder than it should.

That is one of the reasons I designed Beverly.

Beverly is a refined ankle-strap sandal with a 2.75-inch heel, gold accent detailing, and a silhouette that feels polished without being boring. She was designed for women who want a heel that can move through real life: dinner, church, brunch, weddings, graduations, vacations, work events, and those moments when you simply want to feel put together.

When I created Beverly, I was thinking about what I could not find in my own size.

I wanted a chic heel with a stable structure. Something that could feel formal but still work casually. Something unique in its silhouette. Something crafted with intention and detail. Something with flair, but not overkill.

For years, women with larger feet have been offered shoes that were either too plain, too flimsy, too uncomfortable, or not available at all.

Beverly was designed to be different.

She is currently available in both colourways, with strong inventory across sizes 11 to 16. She is also one of our best options for many standard and wider feet because of her cut, strap placement, leather construction, and stable heel.

Here are three ways to style Beverly this summer1.

1. Style Beverly for a formal summer event (see blog hero image)

A formal summer outfit does not have to mean uncomfortable shoes.

Beverly works beautifully with a chocolate satin dress and a cream blazer because the sandal gives the look structure, polish, and warmth. The cognac and gold tones pair well with rich neutrals, while the ankle strap keeps the outfit feeling elegant and intentional.

This is the kind of outfit you can wear to a summer wedding, evening dinner, milestone birthday, gala, anniversary dinner, church event, or graduation celebration.

I recently wore Beverly to my son’s graduation for almost eight hours. I did not rush home to take them off. I did not kick them off under my seat. I did not sit through dinner wishing I had packed another pair.

They fit beautifully, felt stable, and stayed comfortable.

That matters because when you wear a larger size, it is not enough for a shoe to simply exist in your size. It has to be wearable. It has to support your life. It has to let you show up without thinking about your feet the whole time.

That is what Beverly was designed to do.

2. Style Beverly with wide-leg pants

Beverly is not only for dresses.

One of the easiest ways to style her is with wide-leg pants, a soft blouse, and simple gold accessories. This gives you a look that feels polished but still comfortable.

Wide-leg pants balance the ankle strap beautifully. The slight heel gives just enough lift so the pants fall better, while the open-toe design keeps the outfit feeling light for summer.

This look works for brunch, dinner, business-casual events, vacation evenings, networking, or a polished daytime outfit when you want to look intentional without feeling overdressed.

When I design shoes, I always think about the different parts of my own life. Some days I am in leggings. Some days I need to dress up. Some days I am moving between work, family, events, errands, and meetings.

My style is versatile, and Beverly was designed with that versatility in mind.

If I would wear it, I know many other women will too.

3. Style Beverly with a white summer dress

A white summer dress and Beverly is an easy combination.

It is feminine, simple, and clean without feeling basic. The gold details on Beverly add interest, while the cognac tones bring warmth to the outfit.

This is the kind of look that works for patio dinners, church, vacation, brunch, outdoor events, bridal showers, and summer celebrations.

It is also a reminder that women with larger feet deserve the same styling options everyone else gets.

You should be able to wear a beautiful dress and choose a beautiful sandal in your actual size.

Not whatever was left.

Not the only pair available.

Not something that almost works.

A real option. A beautiful option. A shoe that was designed with you in mind.

Why Beverly works for many standard and wider feet

Beverly is not sold as a separate wide-width shoe, but she was intentionally designed to work for many standard and wider feet.

That distinction matters.

A lot of women do not need an extra-wide shoe. They need a shoe with a little more room, a better cut, softer construction, thoughtful straps, and a shape that does not punish their foot.

So far, Beverly has received strong feedback from customers with wider feet who have shared that she fits beautifully, feels comfortable, and is true to size for them.

That feedback means a lot to me because Beverly was designed from lived experience.

I know what it feels like to search for a heel and feel like the industry forgot about you. My mom and sisters have experienced fit challenges too. That is why I pay attention to structure, stability, room, and comfort when designing Trèsolz shoes.

Beverly is stable. She is feminine. She gives height without being too high. Her 2.75-inch heel is just under 3 inches, which gives presence without the intensity of a very high heel.

And yes, I believe women with larger feet should be able to wear heels.

We do not need to shrink ourselves.

We do not need to apologize for our height.

We do not need to avoid beautiful shoes because the industry failed to make them in our size.

Beverly was made to stand out.

And so were you.

The founder perspective behind Beverly

I designed Beverly because women with larger feet deserved a heel that was chic, stable, intentional, and beautiful.

I wanted something with flair, but not overkill.

I wanted a shoe that could be worn with a dress, wide-leg pants, or a formal outfit. I wanted something that felt elegant enough for an event but wearable enough for real life.

Most of all, I wanted women to put Beverly on and feel something.

Seen.

Confident.

Impressed by themselves.

I want a woman with larger feet to look at herself twice and remember that her size was never the problem.

She was always worth designing for.
